Little League ICYMI – Parents

In Case You Missed It – For Parents

Little League International does a great job sending out timely reminders about what we should be doing during the season. Unfortunately, they get lost in our mailboxes and we often miss out on their important messages. Here you can find a recap of all those reminders, In Case You Missed It…

Rulebook App Updated for 2024

The Little League Rulebook App is available on both Android and iPhones FOR FREE. This app will always have the most up-to-date rules for Baseball, Softball, and Challenger.  It’s even approved for use in the dugout!  Get the latest information here.

International Volunteer Day

December 5th is International Volunteer Day, and for Little League its a great time to remember that we are an ALL VOLUNTEER organization. Our kids would not have a Little League experience without the countless volunteers all over the world giving their time. Read more about volunteering opportunities and recruiting.

Child Protection Program Updates

Little League has been committed to providing new, easy-to-implement opportunities to enhance educational efforts, strengthen background check and training programs, and provide families and parents with the information needed to help keep their players safe.

Equipping a Little Leaguer

Little Leaguers and local leagues are encouraged to begin making their equipment wish lists now!  Read more about Equipping a Little Leaguer — what equipment is usually provided by local leagues and what parents may need to buy.

Determining Ages

Know the “league age” for your Little League Baseball and Softball players. Visit League Age Determination Dates to find out how to figure out what divisions are right for your little leaguer, and what their official league age is.

Why Equity Matters

Sports can be a unifying force that transcends our differences and brings us all together. But sports alone isn’t the solution. We have to be aware of the challenges people face to be able to participate in our programs. Read Why Equity Matters in Youth Sports by the Positive Coaching Aliance to understand more.

Diamond Leader Training

Mental, social, and emotional well-being is essential to your family’s healthy Little League experience. The Diamond Leader Training is required for all managers and coaches participating in the International Tournament (also known as All Stars), but this training isn’t just for coaches and managers. We can all learn from it!
