2023 All-STAR (PAPER) SCOREKEEPING CLINIC

Did you know that GAME CHANGER can not be used for “Official” Little League Scorekeeping during ALL-STARS (At the District & State Level) – IT MUST BE OLD FASHION PAPER SCOREKEEPING.

Someone (preferably several) parents on your All-Star team, need to learn how to properly keep score using the time-honored traditional paper method. This does not mean, creating your own method or using codes or colors no one but you understands…

With All-Star tournaments right around the corner, District 9 & Redmond West Little League have teamed up to help All-Star Parents by hosting a virtual paper scorekeeper training:

Wednesday, June 7 at 7:00 pm (see Teams link below).
Please share the Teams link below with anyone who wants to join this training session.

Below is a link to a resource guide that offers some useful step-by-step instructions on how to do paper scorekeeping. The training session will not only cover some of the areas highlighted in this PDF guide, we will also discuss some of the new tournament rules to be aware of, as well as tips on tracking pitch counts (a critical part of baseball tournaments). Therefore, it’s important that scorekeepers try to attend this session to understand their roles as scorekeepers in tournament play.
