BOB TOIGO ELECTED AT 2014 LITTLE LEAGUE CONGRESS

4/5/2014 – Minneapolis MN – Washington District 9 is proud to announce that Bob Toigo (District Administrator) has been elected to a 4 year term on the Little League International Board of Directors. The elections were held at the 2014 Little League International Congress in Minneapolis, Minnesota and his term begins in November of 2014. The primary purpose of the International Congress is to give Little League volunteers a voice in proposing, amending and adopting rules and regulations.

Bob joins the 27 person Board of Directors that oversee the officers and operation of Little League International. He also joins Janice Christensen ( Washington District 9 Assistant District Administrator Softball) as a member of the board. Of the 27 International board members only 4 come from the USA west coast and 2 of the 4 come from our own Washington District 9.

In addition Washington District 9 hosts the Little League Junior Softball World Series and the Director of the Tournament is our own John Chadwick (District Administrator Emeritus).

Washington District 9 continues to show leadership at the District, State, International and World Series level.
